Winter Skiing and Summer Zip Line fun at the 50th Anniversary NSAA ( National Ski Areas Association ) Trade Show.

Posted on May 14, 2012 by Philip Wilson

As the world leader in climbing walls, zip lines, jumper systems and adventure products, it was imperative that we attend the NSAA ( National Ski Areas Association ) 50th Anniversary trade show in San Antonio, Texas. We just simply had to be there!

“Ski resorts, such as Heavenly, Keystone and Squaw Valley, are looking for ways to expand their operating season by having summer activities. Zip lines have become a very popular attraction for this market,” states Philip Wilson, Director of Marketing with Extreme Engineering.

To put it simply, they need us! With over 300 ski resorts nationwide, Extreme Engineering’s zip lines, including the award winning Zippin Zone™ zip line, climbing walls, Extreme Air™ jumper systems and other products are the perfect solution to ski resorts summer operations. Winter skiing and Summer zippin’ is going to be the buzz.

“Expanding the operational cycle is crucial for ski resorts. Having summer activities and using Extreme Engineering products, like zip lines and climbing walls, offer a fantastic ROI and an innovative, exciting way to promote resorts,” states Ryan Lucia, Sales Manager with Extreme Engineering.

NSAA in San Antonio this month attracted over 5,000 attendees from the ski market. Extreme Engineering was one of many exhibitors offering products to the ski industry. “I already have several large ski resorts ready to have zip lines at their facilities this summer,” said Lucia.

Posted on February 14, 2011 by Philip Wilson

The president of Extreme Engineering, Jeff Wilson, flew to Space Center Houston last week to provide training on their purchase of two new In Line Jumpers.  Extreme Engineering’s In Line Jumpers were purchased by Space Center Houston to support new activities offered by the Education Department. The award winning In Line Jumper is another exciting product, like Extreme Engineering’s climbing walls and Cannonball Air Blasters, that are used for amusement and educational programs.

The staff fell in love with the exciting In Line Jumper, allowing participants to launch up to 24 feet in the air while doing flips!  The optional foam boards allowed the participants to simulate snow or wake boarding tricks on the inflatable jumper pads.  Extreme Engineering has provided Space Center Houston with climbing walls on previous projects.  Visit Extreme Engineering’s Facebook or Blog for customer updates and new production information on the Cannonball Air Blasters.

Posted on January 21, 2010 by Philip Wilson

Extreme Engineering, the world’s largest mobile climbing wall and adventure product supplier supported the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation with a donation of mobile climbing rock hand holds.  The non-profit organization rented an Extreme Engineering mobile climbing wall to signify life’s unexpected challenges and how to overcome them with courage, support and community.

The Soaring Spirit Loss Foundation is a “non-denominational organization focused on hope and healing through the grieving process. SSLF is a positive, and forward thinking, while focusing on offering our members the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the death of a loved one” (www.sslf.org).  Extreme Engineering’s mobile climbing wall was the main attraction at the non-profit event.  Each climber was awarded an Extreme Engineering mobile climbing rock hand hold as a gift.

SSLF offers a variety of programs intended to connect grieving individuals so they can offer peer support during difficult times, and also to provide opportunities to connect the many wonderful organizations that provide services offering comfort and healing.  Our rock wall fit in perfectly with their message of working together to overcome challenges, and we were happy to be a part of this amazing organization’s efforts.
